We are Elegant Designs — a Dar es Salaam practice that refuses to treat sustainability as a constraint. For us, it is the creative brief. Every building we produce demonstrates that ecological architecture can be more ambitious, more beautiful, and more enduring than anything that came before it.
Our 24-person team of architects, engineers, and ecologists takes on 6 to 8 projects per year. We work across East and West Africa because this is where the world's most consequential design decisions are being made right now.
